The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Maties got free with Cristoforo Tammaro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, River de Ramos Mejía's Gianni Giammarino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cristoforo Tammaro. In the 36th minute Fedele Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Maties in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Ernesto Martini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ernesto Martini sped through River de Ramos Mejía's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eleuterio Maureo. The River de Ramos Mejía players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lunatics of Arianrhod were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Fedele Panza made the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Maureo was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Fedele Panza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fedele Panza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Martini in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eleuterio Maureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Panza's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
