When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Florencio Herbella sped through Izaltina FAD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. Jaunzuria Luyando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Well-Well Waack, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Alves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th minute Well-Well Waack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaunzuria Luyando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletico Maturrango's Jaunzuria Luyando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Waack in the 16th minute of play. Jaunzuria Luyando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Well-Well Waack in the 19th minute of the match. Jaunzuria Luyando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Angelsø in the 20th minute of play. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Herbella in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Florencio Herbella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Marcial Zuazna kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Well-Well Waack came free, but Jaunzuria Luyando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Herbella in the 38th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes Izaltina FAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hitzeder Serans who took care of the corner kick. Hitzeder Serans made a great header on Atletico Maturrango's corner, it was just that Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves managed to reach the ball for a save. Jaunzuria Luyando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Well-Well Waack left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Izaltina FAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Herbella was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Zuazna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Marcial Zuazna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Atletico Maturrango's Jaunzuria Luyando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Waack in the 58th minute of play. Jaunzuria Luyando made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Well-Well Waack sent off a good shot on target. Well-Well Waack struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jaunzuria Luyando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izaltina FAD. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Leandro Sugar replaced William Angelsø. Xizavier Varona hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Florencio Herbella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Manuel Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaunzuria Luyando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With an all-out effort, Izaltina FAD's Jaunzuria Luyando threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matías Mendes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Atletico Maturrango players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
