Dalmore's Jean-Louis Quinet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Lara in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute Dre Teunis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Juchno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zé Carlos de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean-Louis Quinet was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The supporters of Florão da América booed when Dalmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cederic Van Hecke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florão da América's Tostão Medeiros managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Verbeke in the 60 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos de Lara in the 71st minute of play forced Dalmore's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Quinet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Louis Quinet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Carlos de Lara's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Mohamed Mané notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dalmore's Jean-Louis Quinet. Jean-Louis Quinet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Dragolyub Chavdarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean-Louis Quinet was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Zé Carlos de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Florão da América were the better team. Florão da América's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
