In the 20th minute, Aquilino Velazquez made a precise shot to the right of Björn Browall. Söderbröder's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Björn Browall made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Belarmino Viejo sent off a good shot on target. Söderbröder's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Club Deportivo Polonia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
