Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Diaz in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Daniel Diaz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zenon Pleban. Daniel Diaz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Zenon Pleban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Belarmino Viejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karol Tomiczek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Xerardo Gasso made a huge save. In the 68th minute Karol Tomiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xerardo Gasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71stth minute of the game Leszek Podwojski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Polonia's Xerardo Gasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Virgilio Ramis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Pleban was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute Daniel Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Pleban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Deportivo Polonia's Virgilio Ramis pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Karol Tomiczek charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karol Tomiczek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Karol Tomiczek. Club Deportivo Polonia's Belarmino Viejo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Axel Lindberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xerardo Gasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
