Jonathan Ortzi hit a great ball. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Quexal in the 13th minute of play. Leo Nesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Senna in the 16th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Donato Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Nesto was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tano Sampler came free, but Tomé Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Erruki made a kick off. Donato Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Javiero in the 53rd minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teobaldo Ponce who took care of the corner kick. The referee ignored Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s protests and gave Cláudio Senna a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Mervaleta FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Javiero. Cláudio Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Errukis short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Tomé Oliveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mervaleta FC's Leo Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno Nunes in the 74th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mervaleta FC's zone, Wincent Wydrych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Nesto came out of the goal and Wincent Wydrych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Erruki during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. booed when Mervaleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Magno Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
