The audience thought a goal was coming when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris got free with Radu Tarchilă in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aris Zanteroglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bolborici, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Orestis Daras fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jose F.C.'s protests and gave Orestis Daras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Orestis Daras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite being the better team, SuperDepor failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
