Călin Bolborici started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, SuperDepor's Călin Bolborici made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomé Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute of the match, Călin Bolborici tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomé Oliveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. SuperDepor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Pivniceru in the 14th minute. SuperDepor's Stelian Pivniceru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomé Oliveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomé Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bolborici, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira got control of the ball when Iustinian Comăneci tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Guimarães in the 23rd minute of play forced SuperDepor's goalkeeper Radu Tarchilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Magno Nunes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Tomé Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Bolborici in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stelian Pivniceru was slow to take the kick. During this time SuperDepor's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Guimarães in the 35th minute of play forced SuperDepor's goalkeeper Radu Tarchilă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Botelho in the 37th minute of play. Iustinian Comăneci hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The supporters of SuperDepor booed when Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hamit Gündüz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Tomé Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Călin Bolborici's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Tomé Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Bolborici in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the SuperDepor defense, Magno Nunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Tarchilă. The SuperDepor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Tarchilă should have stopped the shot. Romeo Hosu's late challenge caught a Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Hosu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, SuperDepor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Hosu to maneuver through the defense. Radu Tarchilă made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Téo Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Călin Bolborici in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s zone, Iustinian Comăneci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Oliveira came out of the goal and Iustinian Comăneci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomé Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Bolborici, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Magno Nunes could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Radu Tarchilă however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Comăneci in the 85th minute of play forced Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s goalkeeper Tomé Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Călin Bolborici's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. When Caco Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caco Guimarães couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SuperDepor getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cristián Săpunaru hit a great ball. The Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SuperDepor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
