Hugo Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizkine Ibern in the 4th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Deportivo Popolizio FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cris Ronaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Nuka Crazies got a corner. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Richard Dickson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Gustav Pihlberg drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper. The audience was convinced that Jonny Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermann Hesse was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Rius Mascaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rius Mascaran might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rius Mascaran ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rius Mascaran in the 31st minute of play forced Nuka Crazies's goalkeeper Hugo Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Wennerqvist made in the 35th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jonny Sjöberg. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute Gaizkine Ibern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cris Ronaldo in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Jonny Sjöberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Nuka Crazies's Hugo Blomqvist got control of the ball when Rius Mascaran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermann Hesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Bohlin came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC made a substitution. Olly Morgan replaced Rius Mascaran. In the 61st minute, Karl-Johan Strömberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermann Hesse was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nuka Crazies made a substitution. Hugo Julin replaced Karl-Johan Strömberg. Nuka Crazies's Magnus Runeberg was substituted for Jonny Sjöberg. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Runeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Olly Morgan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torbjørn Trondsen got free with Hugo Blomqvist in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
