Gavino Belarmo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Xabat Acedo sent off a good shot on target. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Metapalo FC from getting a goal against them. Ulises Pagomari made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Metapalo FC's Jorge Bermudez. Joseph Brinkmann's late challenge caught a Metapalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joseph Brinkmann helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Night Cats's Joseph Brinkmann got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Dante Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arno Trenkel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Dante Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Metapalo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arno Trenkel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arsenio Loramendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arno Trenkel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SC Night Cats booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Arsenio Loramendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Halbich in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Night Cats defense, Arsenio Loramendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arno Trenkel. The SC Night Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arno Trenkel should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

50 minutes into the game, Arsenio Loramendi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arno Trenkel. Arsenio Loramendi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Rafe got free with Arno Trenkel in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arno Trenkel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Rafe's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabat Acedo in the 60th minute of play. Domingo Beltza kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Belarmo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SC Night Cats booed when Metapalo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xabat Acedo came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Stefan Halbich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Metapalo FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Domingo Beltza hit a great ball. If Xabat Acedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Arno Trenkel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Rafe. After 95 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Bermudez.
