Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pawel Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes of play, GALACTICOS's Pawel Mietus made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's Pawel Mietus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Gabriel Bati who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALACTICOS's Rey Acitores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 25 minutes GALACTICOS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sixto Ondino who took care of the corner kick. But to his dismay, Gabriel Bati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Mietus in the 44th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

José Mora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Eliseu Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Rey Acitores made a huge save. Pawel Mietus might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Sabóia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rey Acitores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Bati in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Fonseca. Pawel Mietus scored 3-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zé Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Mietus in the 73rd minute of play. GALACTICOS were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Saiko FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norman Salcedo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which David Râznicu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alfredo Palos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Sabóia having to make a save. But to his dismay, Pawel Mietus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GALACTICOS had won after a very even match.
