GALACTICOS's Rey Acitores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Batalla in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by GALACTICOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaizko Ramirez was slow to take the kick. During this time Vodka Stars 1949's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki got control of the ball when Pawel Mietus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Generoso Beloki made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Pawel Mietus sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vodka Stars 1949's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norman Salcedo was slow to take the kick. During this time GALACTICOS's players had a chance to rest. Pawel Mietus took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Beloki. Generoso Beloki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Generoso Beloki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Mietus went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes Vodka Stars 1949's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norman Salcedo who took care of the corner kick. GALACTICOS's Elco Vid was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Generoso Beloki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 61 minutes into the game, Pawel Mietus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Generoso Beloki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Generoso Beloki came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by GALACTICOS's Pawel Mietus. But to his dismay, Pawel Mietus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Vodka Stars 1949's Edmundo London was substituted for Gaizko Ramirez. Vodka Stars 1949's Txema Cifuentes was substituted for Hugo Mera. 69 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Rey Acitores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Montaña. Generoso Beloki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Mietus in the 72nd minute of play. Vodka Stars 1949's Generoso Beloki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Palos in the 75th minute of play. Edmundo London charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo London the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vodka Stars 1949's Edmundo London got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Vodka Stars 1949 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nektarios Vrachopoulos hit a great ball. Generoso Beloki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pawel Mietus in the 82nd minute of the match. Cosmin Mihuleac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Rey Acitores made a huge save. If Norman Salcedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Erik Véber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rey Acitores made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Erik Véber sent off a good shot on target. GALACTICOS's Rey Acitores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Mihuleac in the 93rd minute of play. Rey Acitores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Véber, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GALACTICOS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vodka Stars 1949 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
