Osvaldinho Zonta ran over to the corner to take the kick. 17 minutes into the match, Inocencio Frichoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ata Necmi, 3-0. 19 minutes in the game, Ermegildo Heriberto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ata Necmi having to interfere. In the 24th minute Flavio Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ata Necmi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Arce in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Paz to maneuver through the defense. Inocencio Frichoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Ata Necmi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Capixaba came free, but Venancio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Jacinto Eleazar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ata Necmi did a great save. Osvaldinho Zonta's late challenge caught a Punta Alvear's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Punta Alvear's Venancio Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Punta Alvear from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes Punta Alvear's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldinho Zonta who took care of the corner kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Punta Alvear fully deserved thier win.
