BENA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Francho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fedai Oktan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orestis Lazarou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26thth minute of the game Jacco Hekman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BENA FK's Ronny Sundström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jacco Hekman sped through BENA FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ronny Sundström. 30 minutes into the match, BENA FK's Camilo Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orestis Lazarou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orestis Lazarou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedai Oktan in the 36th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fedai Oktan made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Jacco Hekman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Sundström was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 58th minute, but Orestis Lazarou got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Rondo hanging dry this time. The supporters of Rondo booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
