Ago Vaasna was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th match minute, KFC Uerdingen 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartwig Engelhardt to maneuver through the defense. White Eagles FC's Tristram Fuller was substituted for Matty Robson. The supporters of White Eagles FC booed when KFC Uerdingen 05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Bülau didn't get a good kick on the ball. White Eagles FC's Dave Ridgeway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartwig Engelhardt in the 25th minute of play. If Fabrizio Nowak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Tristram Fuller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ago Vaasna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to White Eagles FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jeffrey Barratt hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Tristram Fuller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half White Eagles FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Bannenbusch to strike the kick off in the second half.
