Spectators: 189 (Terracing: 143, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Nelson Haedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asdrubal Rodríguez in the 5th minute of the match. After 5 minutes of play, Rondo's Asdrubal Rodríguez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Aguilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurgen Winters in the 13th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Jurgen Winters came free, but Alfredo Aguilar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Denis Inestrosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes of play, Rondo's Asdrubal Rodríguez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Aguilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute Club Olimpia were awarded a corner. Denis Inestrosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurgen Winters in the 31st minute of play. Jurgen Winters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Aguilar having to interfere. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurgen Winters in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Olimpia defense, Asdrubal Rodríguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Aguilar. The Club Olimpia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Aguilar should have stopped the shot. After the first half Rondo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Asdrubal Rodríguez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Club Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Soned to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orestis Lazarou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Rickard Soned hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nelson Haedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orestis Lazarou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Haedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, Rondo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Knuppel to maneuver through the defense. Orestis Lazarou came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo. But to his dismay, Nelson Haedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asdrubal Rodríguez in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roberto Bueldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Roberto Bueldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orestis Lazarou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Rondo booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rondo's Franco Aznar was substituted for Jacco Hekman. In the 77th minute, Luís Fernando Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jurgen Winters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurgen Winters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Aguilar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Jack Hägglund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rondo's Orestis Lazarou did a great save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rondo's goalkeeper Orestis Lazarou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Nelson Haedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Orestis Lazarou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nelson Haedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Olimpia's attentive Rickard Soned managed to snatch the ball when Dirk-Jan Knuppel made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Rickard Soned ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orestis Lazarou was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Olimpia had won after a very even match.
