Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Oprescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With his leg Dinu Oardă managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Club Athletico Paulistano's Fabinho dos Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă got control of the ball when Fabinho dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinu Oardă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Zé Paulo de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Athletico Paulistano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Edwin 雷岩 took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Acácio Lara to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 75th minute of play forced MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho dos Santos came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ernest Oprescu hit a great ball. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo de Senna in the 85th minute of play. Club Athletico Paulistano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saad Dar in the 86th minute. The corner led Club Athletico Paulistano's Saad Dar to fire away a dangerous shot which Dinu Oardă despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fabinho dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Dinu Oardă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Athletico Paulistano. Mihăiţă Moisil kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Fabinho dos Santos scored 1-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinu Oardă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
