In the 22nd minute of the match, Cristobal Donio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beyhan Değirmencioğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 23 played minutes Yorulan Defansa Gelsin got a freekick which was hit by Cihangir Akartürk. Cristobal Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute Umur Serdinç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Yorulan Defansa Gelsin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yorulan Defansa Gelsin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
