Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devlet Seci in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jakob Heinicke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, Haşhaşşehir's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Tonete came free, but Celsinho Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Haşhaşşehir reached it. Rodolfo Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Walme was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, Ahmet Necdet Hicabi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 54th match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Fe to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Rodolfo Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Temperley made a substitution. Godfredo Sugoi replaced Fulgencio Kaiet. Jakob Heinicke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emin Hazer in the 60th minute.
