Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cemal Özgun in the 2nd minute of play. Songurhan Yetişen charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Songurhan Yetişen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Plaza Babys CF booed when The Last Airbender was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Songurhan Yetişen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Yasin Saleh. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemal Özgun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Plaza Babys CF were awarded a corner. Matia De Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. Plaza Babys CF's Matia De Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Raimond Aumann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Plaza Babys CF defense, Yavuzalp Mesut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Macías. The Plaza Babys CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Macías should have stopped the shot. If Yasin Saleh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Saleh in the 38th minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Raimond Aumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Last Airbender getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ömür Himmet hit a great ball. Matia De Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Raimond Aumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half The Last Airbender were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Yasin Saleh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimond Aumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Last Airbender's Raimond Aumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasin Saleh in the 53rd minute of play. Tamer Özbil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in The Last Airbender's zone, Yasin Saleh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimond Aumann came out of the goal and Yasin Saleh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimond Aumann had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Matia De Silva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 75th minute, Wen Yu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Plaza Babys CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Elisardo Campomanes replaced Zahar Garzon. Mikail Savgat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Abelardo Macías made a huge save. Wen Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimond Aumann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Matia De Silva got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Matia De Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Tim Van Brussel kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Plaza Babys CF fans cheered their team off the field, for while The Last Airbender had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
