An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Sellers in the 10th minute of play forced FC Lilli's goalkeeper Otto-Stephan Hennig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommie Bolton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Independiente made a substitution. Garth Gould replaced Alfredo Felder. The supporters of FC Lilli booed when C. A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Bolton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The C. A. Independiente players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
