Baxters Boys's Carl Thorsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes Baxters Boys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnd Wegel who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Arnd Wegel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Staffan Joensson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Enrique Tavares's late challenge caught a FC Lilli's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Tavares helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Baxters Boys's zone, Toni Hennrich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Joensson came out of the goal and Toni Hennrich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Toni Hennrich made a precise shot to the right of Staffan Joensson. Baxters Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. FC Lilli's Otto-Stephan Hennig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Thorsberg in the 93rd minute of play. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Lilli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sotirios Papagiannopoulos was slow to take the kick. During this time Baxters Boys's players had a chance to rest. 96 minutes into the game, Lucjan Domeracki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lilli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baxters Boys the free kick.
