With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luc Van Hinnendael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the game, Christian Bergqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Luc Van Hinnendael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute of the game Philip Verhasselt made a throw-in which Ken Brogren played forward. After 90 minutes of play, FC Bruges's Carl Van Kamp made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafin Cesaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tximitx came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Bruges's much stronger midfield.
