Maurice Bernon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Seguinus having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Deus Ex Machina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédéric Courtial to maneuver through the defense. Christophe Pérennou struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rosendo Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deus Ex Machina. Bogdan Udrişte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabien Nunes having to interfere. Jacques Greff hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Frédéric Courtial's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frédéric Courtial helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Deus Ex Machina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédéric Courtial to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Ernest Petru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bogdan Udrişte to make the kick off. If Fryderyk Witwicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52ndth minute of the game Fryderyk Witwicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deus Ex Machina's Fabien Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 53 minutes Deus Ex Machina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fryderyk Witwicki who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Aron Zgrăbunţa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jean-Pierre Halter's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean-Pierre Halter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Deus Ex Machina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Pierre Halter didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Rosendo Seguinus managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Deus Ex Machina's Felix Laget fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jacques Greff hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Fryderyk Witwicki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabien Nunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting a goal against them. Deus Ex Machina's Fabien Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Cazacu in the 74th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Witwicki notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Deus Ex Machina's Fabien Nunes. Fabien Nunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Laget in the 87th minute of play. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Laget in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Witwicki in the 91st minute of play forced Deus Ex Machina's goalkeeper Fabien Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Fryderyk Witwicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
