After 16 minutes of play, Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Asklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eric Asklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Gigliotti, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Gigliotti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Asklund. Hudiksvalls United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmanuel Gigliotti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The Curumalán AFC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Curumalán AFC's Esequiel Barco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eric Asklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 32nd minute. Eric Asklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Gigliotti's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Emmanuel Gigliotti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Eric Asklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Esequiel Barco had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thor Grönberg during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curumalán AFC's Lautaro Barahona was substituted for Esequiel Barco. The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Hudiksvalls United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Grönberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Asklund made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Emmanuel Gigliotti sent off a good shot on target. Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Asklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd play minute Lautaro Barahona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Eric Asklund. 8-0. Eric Asklund stood somewhat misplaced when Emmanuel Gigliotti came free in front of goal and shot 9-0 to the left of him in the 46 minute.

Emmanuel Gigliotti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Lautaro Barahona notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Hudiksvalls United's Eric Asklund. Eric Asklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hudiksvalls United's Eric Asklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 57th minute of play. Júlio Viveiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Lautaro Barahona sped through Hudiksvalls United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Asklund. 87 minutes into the game, Curumalán AFC's Lautaro Barahona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eric Asklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. After having played for 95 minutes, Lautaro Barahona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curumalán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Barahona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Curumalán AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
