In the 13th minute Grzegorz Bierfass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Sotta kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 20th minute of play. The throw-in from Kert Kuningas in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Inter de Chillán's Chen Feng Jian. 28 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Willmann came free, but Zhuo Xuan Yu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inter de Chillán's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Timos Karabelas scored to the left of an out of position Zhuo Xuan Yu, making the score, 1-0. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Bierfass in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matti Erkiner in the 40th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ari Brantwein made a great header on 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's corner, it was just that Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu managed to reach the ball for a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grzegorz Bierfass made a kick off.
