Raymond Foubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Alebio in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Olympique Salonais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zheng Liang Song to maneuver through the defense. Louis Alebio took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raymond Foubert. Raymond Foubert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Salonais's goalkeeper Raymond Foubert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raymond Foubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Alebio in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Salonais's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vladimir Tepes was slow to take the kick. During this time AJ Juventus FC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Cosme Reno managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Raymond Foubert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis Alebio's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. A collision led to AJ Juventus FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Joshua Kimmich hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Alebio came free, but Raymond Foubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Louis Alebio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Foubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Foubert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Louis Alebio went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Louis Alebio put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Raymond Foubert. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Louis Alebio managed to get in a good position for a shot. AJ Juventus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Alebio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Foubert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save AJ Juventus FC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Mambru Puertas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ma Chao Yong. Louis Alebio might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raymond Foubert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis Alebio ran back to his position shaking his head. Raymond Foubert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis Alebio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Olympique Salonais players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AJ Juventus FC were winning 0-4.

AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romain Blet in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Noël Maunoury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mambru Puertas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noël Maunoury got a throw-in 55 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hector Etxepare. In the 58thth minute of the game Louis Alebio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Salonais's Raymond Foubert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Song Peng Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mambru Puertas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Olympique Salonais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Christophe Grenard to maneuver through the defense. Olympique Salonais made a substitution. Raymond Foubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Pankiewicz in the 95th minute of play. The AJ Juventus FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AJ Juventus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
