The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Lavrentev got free with Atak Üke in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, STORM's Roman Bolshakov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in STORM's zone, Hao Qiang Shi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efim Fedotov came out of the goal and Hao Qiang Shi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Varlamov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Atak Üke came out and tried to block the shot, but Anton Varlamov slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. Vitaliy Grischenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Atak Üke made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. STORM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
