Sergio Rochet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 7 played minutes The dogs got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Aslan. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Sergio Rochet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Gaizkine in the 15th minute of play forced --Sibenik--'s goalkeeper Alen Kovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The dogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Polo in the 16th minute. Alen Kovič stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anacleto Gaizkine's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The The dogs fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when The dogs's Anacleto Gaizkine looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Napoleon Basaik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dražen Repac kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikri Tekinay in the 32nd minute of play. Sergio Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dražen Repac, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Napoleon Basaik managed to get in a good position for a shot. The dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Basaik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alen Kovič breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Anacleto Gaizkine put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alen Kovič. Ryan Gray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Borislav Tvrdić made a kick off. The dogs's Ryan Gray managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jasenko Rogošić in the 55 minute of the game. In the 58th minute Borislav Tvrdić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Rochet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save --Sibenik-- from getting a goal against them. Fikri Tekinay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Alen Kovič made a huge save. --Sibenik--'s Alen Kovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Gaizkine in the 67th minute of play. Sergio Rochet came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by --Sibenik--'s Borislav Tvrdić. But to his dismay, Borislav Tvrdić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Anacleto Gaizkine struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Alen Kovič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The dogs. The crowd rose to their feet as The dogs's Anacleto Gaizkine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alen Kovič. That made the score 3-3 after 96 minutes of play.
