After taking down the ball on Flamengo CIMZ's corner Ludomil Osowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Irinel Soneriu quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flamengo CIMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Constantin Istrătescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Lutanu's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Constantin Istrătescu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy did a great save. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Marcu Bobe put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Irinel Soneriu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yetkiner Yasun got free with Édouard Mendy in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flamengo CIMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
