Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo CIMZ from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, Ariel Martinez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Édouard Mendy, 1-1. If Leopoldo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes Flamengo CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ariel Martinez who took care of the corner kick. Ariel Martinez made a great header on Pingos Futbol Club's corner, it was just that Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcial Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Pingos Futbol Club's Marcial Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Kiszkiel in the 32nd minute of play. Ariel Martinez came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Édouard Mendy could save by the left post. 38 minutes into the game, one of Flamengo CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Pingos Futbol Club's Ariel Martinez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Édouard Mendy. Flamengo CIMZ's Leopoldo Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Marcial Licerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Kiszkiel's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. If Clemente Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pingos Futbol Club made a substitution. Ermegildo Haritz replaced Honorio Tancredo. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Matteo in the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Flamengo CIMZ booed when Pingos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Cefero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Flamengo CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Osowski. In the 68th minute, Clemente Matteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Clemente Matteo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Édouard Mendy was relentless in the 69th minute of the game.
