The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mete Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Marud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Fernando Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Army's Edward Marud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gol in the 6th minute of play. Mete Gol took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Marud. Edward Marud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edward Marud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Lesardo went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute Juan Fernando Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Marud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Fernando Quintero struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Edward Marud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madison. After 18 minutes of play, Madison's Mete Gol made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Marud was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, Benito Naldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madison fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 29 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Naldo came free, but Edward Marud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gol in the 30th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Edward Marud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Marud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kryspin Ochabski made a kick off. Edward Marud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Fernando Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Tolek Chlebek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madison the free kick. Ás Ronaldo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Edward Marud didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madison. In the 56th minute, Madison's Mete Gol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edward Marud. Edward Marud yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. A hard shot 59 in the game by Benito Naldo from a close distance when the talented Edward Marud managed to make a qualified save. Red Army's players were relieved. After some careless play in the Red Army defense, Bartosz Salamon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Marud. The Red Army fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Marud should have stopped the shot. Edward Marud came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Madison's Benito Naldo. But to his dismay, Benito Naldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. When Madison's Ás Ronaldo in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Army's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute of the match Madison got a corner. Red Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartosz Salamon ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Madison's Benito Naldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Edward Marud despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tolek Chlebek hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Madison made a substitution. Angel Rioja replaced Ege Træet. Tolek Chlebek kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Cristos Ponce hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Edward Marud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mete Gol in the 84th minute. Red Army's Edward Marud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Naldo in the 85th minute of play. Madison's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
