Palermo AFC's Severino Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Shi Feng in the 7th minute of play. When Cao Xi Kuan fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo AFC's protests and gave Cao Xi Kuan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Cao Xi Kuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the game Mustafa Oğuz Sıratullah made a throw-in which Yu Ke Hui played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Navigators's zone, Rodrigo Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu came out of the goal and Rodrigo Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Güralp Okanay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Shi Feng came free, but Severino Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Lampa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Wit Lampa sped through Palermo AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severino Barros. 27 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Ke Hui came free, but Severino Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Shi Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Shi Feng in the 35th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Severino Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Palermo AFC's Rodrigo Bautista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 44th minute, Palermo AFC's Marcelo Domiku seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcelo Domiku the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palermo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcelo Domiku had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Wit Lampa scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

52 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Ke Hui came free, but Severino Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cao Xi Kuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Navigators made a substitution. Derviş Erva replaced Zeynel Üke. Navigators's Özbek Tokur was substituted for Güralp Okanay. 65 minutes into the game, Hüsmen Bozbey threw the ball into play from the sideline. Palermo AFC's Egon Lätte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cai Shi Feng struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Severino Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navigators. 73 minutes into the game, Navigators's Wit Lampa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Lampa got free with Severino Barros in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alvaro Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo AFC's protests and gave Alvaro Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Alvaro Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes of play, Navigators's Wit Lampa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Navigators walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
