Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Shi Feng in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Akinfeev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Shi Feng in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Evgeniy Fomichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Shi Feng in the 32nd minute of play forced Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Cai Shi Feng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navigators fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Wit Lampa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cai Shi Feng stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Akinfeev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Voskresensk FC's Jaspar Pijps got a free kick in the 66th minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Navigators.
