Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gernando Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Wágner Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Azevedo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wágner Seco. Wágner Seco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 11 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Wágner Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dé Amaral hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Sena during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wágner Seco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gernando Azevedo. After having played for 19 minutes, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brasiliense FC's Wágner Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 22nd minute of play. Ruy Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Pirani came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Wágner Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wágner Seco having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Gernando Azevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wágner Seco. Gernando Azevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0.

The wind increased when Benny Salah made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Azevedo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wágner Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gernando Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wágner Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Wágner Seco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Gernando Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Seco. Brasiliense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Wágner Seco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Henrique Casemiro to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Brasiliense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Azevedo came free, but Wágner Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Gernando Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Azevedo in the 88th minute of play forced Brasiliense FC's goalkeeper Wágner Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gernando Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Brasiliense FC defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Seco. The Brasiliense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Seco should have stopped the shot. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
