Gordie Goretzka received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ruy Montenegro came out and tried to block the shot, but Gordie Goretzka slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gernando Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justas Kukulskis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernando Azevedo made a kick off. Gernando Azevedo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Warberg FC's Justas Kukulskis got control of the ball when Gernando Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gernando Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 56th minute Gernando Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justas Kukulskis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Warberg FC defense, Gernando Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justas Kukulskis. The Warberg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justas Kukulskis should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordie Goretzka in the 61st minute of play forced Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ruy Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justas Kukulskis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fred Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Vit Brun came free, but Ruy Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Andes FC - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
