Marek Brudnicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Cedro in the 23rd minute of the match. Radomil Beninda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Einar Holmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Adam Skorup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Plaski got free with Einar Holmberg in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ascacibar-Pérez's Juan Cedro in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KRK BULLS's goalie prevented a goal. If Kryspin Wodaszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in KRK BULLS's zone, Juan Cedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Brudnicki came out of the goal and Juan Cedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, KRK BULLS's Einar Holmberg threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miromir Plaski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Orain to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Iwo Pawelczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. KRK BULLS's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwo Pawelczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Holmberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radomil Beninda to make the kick off. Einar Holmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Kolano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Plaski came free, but Einar Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, KRK BULLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Kolano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KRK BULLS's zone, Erasmo Clis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Brudnicki came out of the goal and Erasmo Clis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Einar Holmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Beninda in the 73rd minute of play. Marcelino Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marek Brudnicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Txurio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marek Brudnicki having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Marcelino Txurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ascacibar-Pérez's Juan Cedro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kryspin Wodaszak, made in the 88th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ascacibar-Pérez players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
