The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Engström in the 3rd minute of play. Linus Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Iwan Gamza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Hansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Linus Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl Enström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Frans Billström made a huge save. Tallboda Gunners's Frans Billström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Tallboda Gunners from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Linus Stenqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Gamza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by GreenSkar FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peter Skytt was slow to take the kick. During this time Tallboda Gunners's players had a chance to rest. Tallboda Gunners's Peter Skytt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Gamza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Frans Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Stana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GreenSkar FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frans Billström made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Carl Enström sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, GreenSkar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Stenqvist came free, but Iwan Gamza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GreenSkar FC's Iwan Gamza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Stenqvist in the 36th minute of play. Linus Stenqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frans Billström stood somewhat misplaced when Carl Enström came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 45 minute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Stenqvist made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, GreenSkar FC's goalkeeper Iwan Gamza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Stenqvist. Linus Stenqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the GreenSkar FC defense, Martin Lang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Gamza. The GreenSkar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Gamza should have stopped the shot. After 61 minutes, Linus Stenqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tallboda Gunners and the GreenSkar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frans Billström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Enström in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Tallboda Gunners's Linus Stenqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iwan Gamza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Stenqvist got free with Iwan Gamza in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Linus Stenqvist put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Iwan Gamza. Linus Stenqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwan Gamza having to make a save. Iwan Gamza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Stenqvist in the 74th minute. The throw-in from Codrin Stana in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tallboda Gunners's Robin Nordlund. After a rather tough play, GreenSkar FC's Codrin Stana got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Linus Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erling Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Billström having to interfere. Tallboda Gunners's Robin Nordlund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Codrin Stana, made in the 87th minute of the game. If Linus Stenqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, GreenSkar FC's Iwan Gamza got control of the ball when Linus Stenqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tallboda Gunners played a much better game than GreenSkar FC and deserved their victory. The GreenSkar FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
