Tipi Calderon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo in the 28th minute of play. Tipi Calderon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Christiano Ronaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Unione Sportiva got a freekick which was hit by Cassiano Vilas Boas. Fernado Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Lekberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Kaj Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernado Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Club Atletico Los Andes's Tipi Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassiano Vilas Boas in the 51st minute of play. Kaj Skager fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernado Alves having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Christiano Ronaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unione Sportiva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christiano Ronaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Christiano Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tipi Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Unione Sportiva's Christiano Ronaldo, in the 81st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Unione Sportiva. In the 85th minute, Melquiades Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Su Xu Xi in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tipi Calderon saved Club Atletico Los Andes from getting behind. Tipi Calderon came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Unione Sportiva's Su Xu Xi. But to his dismay, Su Xu Xi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There was no doubt that Unione Sportiva were the better team. Unione Sportiva's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
