Edmund Bury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Edmund Bury was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kim Lekberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Bury narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edmund Bury showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Kim Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Edmund Bury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes TAJFUN Giszowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomáš Lamačka who took care of the corner kick. Kim Lekberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Bury read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Kim Lekberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Bury having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 64th minute of play forced TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper Edmund Bury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Bury stood somewhat misplaced when Kim Lekberg came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 85 minute. Edmund Bury stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Lekberg's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Club Atletico Los Andes were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after TAJFUN Giszowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gervasio Hitz took the corner. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Los Andes's corner Gervasio Hitz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmund Bury quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Club Atletico Los Andes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TAJFUN Giszowiec.
