In the 6th minute, Christiano Ronaldo made a precise shot to the right of Thanasis Papadimitriou. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Christiano Ronaldo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou. Thanasis Papadimitriou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanasis Papadimitriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kimon Yfantis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Christiano Ronaldo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Thanasis Papadimitriou tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Ronaldo came free, but Thanasis Papadimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kimon Yfantis in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Unione Sportiva's Kimon Yfantis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 34 minutes of play, Unione Sportiva's Christiano Ronaldo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanasis Papadimitriou was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Unione Sportiva's Cassiano Vilas Boas got a free kick in the 38th minute. Fernado Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Jaen in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Christiano Ronaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Papadimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Heraclides Quirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. and the Unione Sportiva players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Unione Sportiva booed when GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heraclides Quirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Ronaldo came free, but Thanasis Papadimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Hermes Zambrano was substituted for Heraclides Quirós. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Christiano Ronaldo put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Thanasis Papadimitriou. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Ronaldo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Papadimitriou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iphiklos Patrianakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Thanasis Papadimitriou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ove Backlund got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wilfredo Henríguez. Wilfredo Henríguez might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernado Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilfredo Henríguez ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanasis Papadimitriou was a little too slow when Christiano Ronaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 81st minute, Unione Sportiva's Christiano Ronaldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thanasis Papadimitriou. Thanasis Papadimitriou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Thanasis Papadimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanasis Papadimitriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christiano Ronaldo in the 86th minute. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Sapardi Sopandi was substituted for Alberto Jaen. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Hermes Zambrano with Wilfredo Henríguez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Unione Sportiva's Christiano Ronaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Thanasis Papadimitriou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kimon Yfantis. When the match was over Unione Sportiva could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. throughout the match.
