Hermenegildo Cavaco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christiano Ronaldo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucílio Fernandes in the 63rd minute of play forced Unione Sportiva's goalkeeper Fernado Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
