Zé Pedro Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deng Liang Yao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Batalhão do Peçanha's corner Stéphane Ballon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Deng Liang Yao quite easily take care of the ball. Ruben Teodor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Nazario to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Pedro Baptista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deng Liang Yao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedro Baptista couldn't finish the play. Defensores de Fasano's Deng Liang Yao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Baptista in the 89th minute of play. Batalhão do Peçanha's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
