After 25 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Ceresso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lauren in the 28th minute of play forced BOA VISTA E.C.'s goalkeeper Célio Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Idacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo Vander in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlindo Vander. Célio Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Lauren in the 30th minute of the match. Severiano Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Célio Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Idacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo Vander in the 34th minute. BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Lauren in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Arlindo Vander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOA VISTA E.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlindo Vander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pretorianos FC reached it. After the first half Pretorianos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão Ceresso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Santos Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio Varela was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Tostão Ceresso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tostão Ceresso really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Pretorianos FC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after BOA VISTA E.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Valery took the corner. Santiago Valery made a great header on Pretorianos FC's corner, it was just that BOA VISTA E.C.'s Célio Varela managed to reach the ball for a save. Santos Lauren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Célio Varela having to make a save. Célio Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The corner led Pretorianos FC's Santiago Valery to fire away a dangerous shot which Célio Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pretorianos FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
