Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qiu Chuan Ran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Mandrak in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Ventura came free, but Apat Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Frank Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaspar Bruns blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apat Reina having to make a save. When Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Retumbante FC's goalie prevented a goal. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Galvão. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Retumbante FC's Kauã Mandrak in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalie prevented a goal. After 36 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Eurico Galvão. In the 37th minute of the match Kaspar Bruns shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apat Reina showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Raimundo Ventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apat Reina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Apat Reina came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 48 minutes into the game, José Paulo Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Retumbante FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. the free kick. José Paulo Mendonça hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gonzalo Lixandro made the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonzalo Lixandro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apat Reina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Gonzalo Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Apat Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rodolfo Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apat Reina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st play minute Raimundo Ventura came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Apat Reina. 0-3. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. made a substitution. Witold Piszczor replaced Israel Carvalhal. With his leg Apat Reina managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Retumbante FC's Fabinho Bittencourt was substituted for Kauã Mandrak. After having played for 78 minutes, Raimundo Ventura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Ventura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Lixandro. In the 84th minute, Fabinho Bittencourt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Chuan Ran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Gonzalo Lixandro put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Apat Reina. With a little luck, Retumbante FC's Apat Reina got control of the ball when Raimundo Ventura tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Retumbante FC's goalkeeper Apat Reina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apat Reina had great luck who in the 97thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gonzalo Lixandro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
