In the 11th minute Kauã Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, José Paulo Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Nueva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Apat Reina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Günalp Talip, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Dave Murray scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apat Reina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute Kauã Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Apat Reina managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Iron Maiden FC's Honorio Torrent fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Biçim came free, but Apat Reina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Torrent's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Apat Reina firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adalberto Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Clive Burr kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute of the match, Arın Biçim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apat Reina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Honorio Torrent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apat Reina having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kauã Mandrak to make the kick off. Dave Murray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Apat Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Retumbante FC's Apat Reina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günalp Talip in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kauã Mandrak came free, but Adalberto Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apat Reina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günalp Talip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Retumbante FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Michel de Queirós hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Retumbante FC's Michel de Queirós got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Arın Biçim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Maiden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arın Biçim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva got control of the ball when José Paulo Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Belmiro Mello notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva. Adalberto Nueva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabinho Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Adalberto Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adalberto Nueva made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Mendonça in the 82nd minute. Michel de Queirós made a great header on Retumbante FC's corner, it was just that Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva managed to reach the ball for a save. After 85 played minutes Iron Maiden FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Fuente. José Paulo Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adalberto Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Iron Maiden FC's zone, José Paulo Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Nueva came out of the goal and José Paulo Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Nueva made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when José Paulo Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. After 97 minutes Iron Maiden FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Basílio Cearense who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Retumbante FC's Belmiro Mello getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Retumbante FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
