The audience thought a goal was coming when Ekber Merdan got free with Shi Feng Yun in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ekber Merdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shi Feng Yun having to make a save. Shi Feng Yun made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ekber Merdan sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ekber Merdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shi Feng Yun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shi Feng Yun was a little too slow when Ekber Merdan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Shi Feng Yun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekber Merdan in the 28th minute of the match. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the The Huns defense, Silvinho Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vintilă Murgu. The The Huns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vintilă Murgu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of São Wilson booed when The Huns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekber Merdan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekber Merdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Shi Feng Yun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekber Merdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vintilă Murgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Moraes in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Merdan came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekber Merdan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Shi Feng Yun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Huns. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Ekber Merdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shi Feng Yun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ekber Merdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shi Feng Yun having to make a save. 58 minutes into the match, São Wilson's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Merdan came free, but Shi Feng Yun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Enrique Garcia in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Huns's Radu Chesaru. A collision led to São Wilson getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Enrique Garcia hit a great ball. In the 72nd match minute, São Wilson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörg Michael to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Huyterhoeven in the 73rd minute of play forced São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörg Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vintilă Murgu having to interfere. Ekber Merdan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shi Feng Yun having to make a save. When Edison Mauriz fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Wilson's protests and gave Edison Mauriz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to São Wilson getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Edison Mauriz hit a great ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind São Wilson's goalkeeper Shi Feng Yun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. São Wilson's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ekber Merdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Shi Feng Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Merdan in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes São Wilson's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andre Huyterhoeven who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Miroslaw Pazura managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the referee blew the final whistle, The Huns could leave the field as winners, despite São Wilson having more of the ball for most of the match.
