In the 4th minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennvar Noobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Song Wei Yun in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Crocker saved Creekers from getting behind. In the 7th minute of the match Seraċini Għawdxin got a corner. Creekers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Neil Degabriele ran over to the corner to take the kick. Andrea Pirlo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Gines in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Adam Jansson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Creekers's Jude Crocker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Jansson in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jude Crocker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Adam Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennvar Noobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Trotter in the 20th minute of the match. Jude Crocker made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Samuel Griffin sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Samuel Griffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennvar Noobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Griffin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Jansson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Creekers booed when Seraċini Għawdxin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Negro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Gines to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrea Pirlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jude Crocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Seraċini Għawdxin's zone, Ladislao Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennvar Noobel came out of the goal and Ladislao Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Negro came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Song Wei Yun came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seraċini Għawdxin's Song Wei Yun got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Adam Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Crocker was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 70th minute Samuel Griffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jude Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Griffin in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel got control of the ball when Ladislao Gines tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bennvar Noobel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Gines in the 76th minute. Bennvar Noobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvesteri Valkama, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Creekers made a substitution. Reynaldo Driscoll replaced Ladislao Gines. In the 87th match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Driscoll to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Samuel Griffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Griffin came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Negro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Crocker having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Leevi Kampman. Seraċini Għawdxin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
