With an all-out effort, Sporting Savaria's Ellis Schenck threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kálmán Mbappè, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 16 minutes into the game, Danell Mackiathan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. János Gáspár was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eutropio Vera. In the 23rd minute Zlatan BK were awarded a corner. Per Hägglund went to the cornerflag to take it. Zlatan BK's Per Hägglund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but János Gáspár in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. János Gáspár came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Zlatan BK's Danell Mackiathan. But to his dismay, Danell Mackiathan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Zlatan BK's Ubaldo Padro in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ubaldo Padro to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Padro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 56 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Padro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of János Gáspár. Sporting Savaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Padro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Zlatan BK's Uygar Orhan was substituted for Carl Beck. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Padro got free with János Gáspár in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Oskar Kinnman took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised János Gáspár. János Gáspár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Sporting Savaria's János Gáspár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Padro in the 69th minute of play. Karl-Oskar Kinnman scored 0-12 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of János Gáspár, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 77 minutes, Attila Kerékgyártó mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Savaria and the Zlatan BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Sporting Savaria got a freekick which was hit by Attila Kerékgyártó. If Ubaldo Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ubaldo Padro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised János Gáspár 87 minutes into the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Robustiano Berart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Savaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Berart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Padro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without János Gáspár having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Ubaldo Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Gáspár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Padro came free, but János Gáspár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sporting Savaria defense, Ubaldo Padro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of János Gáspár. The Sporting Savaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that János Gáspár should have stopped the shot. Zlatan BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
