After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, 孙鸿鹏 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carpasús FC - FDC's supporters rose to their feet, but 孙鸿鹏 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Unesson in the 15th minute of play forced Carpasús FC - FDC's goalkeeper Oliveiro Gijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Samuelsson came free, but Oliveiro Gijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Olofsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 71st minute 孙鸿鹏 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Carpasús FC - FDC were awarded a corner. Baraquiel Peralta went to the cornerflag to take it. Iván Cordoba was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. But to his dismay, 孙鸿鹏 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ernesto Lavatrice hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Carpasús FC - FDC's Oliveiro Gijon got control of the ball when Ralf Vase tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincent Olofsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 86th playminute. Oliveiro Gijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Unesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Team Rocco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carpasús FC - FDC throughout the match.
